Elmi Badenhorst is a senior lecturer in the Department of Health Sciences Education, at the Faculty of Health Sciences, UCT. Since 2002 she has overseen the design and implementation of the faculty’s academic development programme for medical students, namely the Intervention Programme. Elmi has a Master’s degree in Higher Education and she has published in the areas of cognitive and socio-cultural construction of knowledge. She also plays in a band.
