Amaal Abrahams is a senior lecturer in the Department of Human Biology at the University of Cape Town. She is involved in the development of academic student support programmes and innovative formative learning tools to enhance student success. Her research focuses on driving transformation of the curricula content of the first and second year Anatomy and Physiology subjects in the Physiotherapy and Occupational therapy programmes in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
