Busayo Ige is Senior Lecturer and Acting Director of Education Development Unit (EDU) in the Department of Health Science Education, Faculty of Health Sciences University of Cape Town. She is a sociolinguist with particular interest in teaching and learning in a multilingual context. Her research interest includes language matters in teaching and learning; mutual effects of teaching and learning in higher education; and classroom discourse in linguistically diverse students learning environment.
