Sean Samson is a lecturer in the Language Development Group at the University of Cape Town and teaches on a first-year academic literacy course in the Humanities Faculty. His teaching experience includes cross-disciplinary writing courses at the postgraduate level, and a cross-institutional equity development programme. His research interests include the representation of marginalised communities in post-apartheid media and, more recently, the relationship between writing, knowledge making and social justice.
